Meet: Anna, Marco, Alistair, Richard & Juanma

Heroes Of The Gauntlet started in 2021 as a Chester-based joke: a loving parody of bands like Gloryhammer, born from Marco and Anna's love of the cult videogame Gauntlet: Slayer Edition. Somewhere along the way, the joke became a genuine saga. What began as one guy's solo project pulled in vocalists found on Reddit, a debut EP praised for its cinematic, fantasy-soaked energy, and eventually a full battle-ready lineup that opened Power Metal Quest Fest 2025 to a rapturous response.

The band has weathered lineup changes ever since, most recently trading a departed vocalist for growling guitarist Alistair and drummer Juanma, pushing their sound into heavier, darker territory built around Anna's soaring vocals. Their new era debuted at Bristol's legendary Gryphon in May 2026 and lit up Sheffield's Powerlines Festival with a set fans called pure energy from start to finish.

Still theatrical, still steeped in fantasy lore, but hungrier and heavier than ever. Heroes Of The Gauntlet are just getting to the good part of the quest.
