Drawing inspiration from iconic bands such as Gojira, Lamb of God & Devin Townsend, as well as absorbing the complex melodies and rhythms of bands like Tool and Mudvayne to name a few, Skinchanger creates a sonic landscape that captivates audiences and leaves everything on the stage through dynamic progression, powerful riffing and captivating lyrics.

The band’s lineup consists of Jamie Gray on vocals and guitar, James Chopping on drums, and Ryan Baxter on bass, each with their own diverse style of expression. Their lyrics, theme and untamed story-telling touches upon self-discovery and personal growth with notes of naturalism through their own personal experiences.

Quickly elevating their profile, Skinchanger’s dedication to their craft is clear to see in their diehard fanbase in East Anglia where the metal scene is thriving.
